The Dien Bien – Pha Din Pass (3 Days 2 Nights) journey is a harmonious blend of heroic history, majestic Northwest nature, and deeply soul-touching moments of relaxation.

DETAILED ITINERARY

DAY 1: DIEN BIEN PHU – HISTORICAL FLOWS & MOUNTAIN RELAXATION

(Breakfast – Lunch – Dinner)

• 07:00: Enjoy breakfast in Dien Bien Phu, starting your day with warmth and local flavors.

• 07:30: The journey back in time begins. The group visits:

  • The Martyrs' Memorial Temple at the Dien Bien Battlefield.

  • A1 Hill & A1 Martyrs' Cemetery.

  • Victory Monument.

  • De Castries Bunker.

  • Dien Bien Phu Victory Museum. At each site, listen to stories of the fierce battles of the past and feel the great sacrifices made to protect the nation's borders. (Remaining sites will be visited the following afternoon).

• 11:15: Lunch at a local restaurant featuring Dien Bien specialties.

• After Lunch: Transfer to the hotel for rest and rejuvenation.

• 15:00: Experience hot mineral springs at Hua Pe, U Va, or the Border Guard Station area. In the midst of wild nature, the warm mineral water will soothe your body and clear your mind. Feel free to take photos by the crystal-clear streams, lotus ponds (seasonal), or the peaceful mountain landscape.

• 18:30: A special dinner at a cultural village. By the warm fire, accompanied by the sound of flowing streams, enjoy ethnic dishes, sip "exchange wine" (rượu giao bôi), and connect with the locals. A truly sentimental Dien Bien night.

DAY 2: TANG QUAI CLOUD HUNTING – PHA DIN SUMMIT – VILLAGE LIFE

(Breakfast – Lunch – Dinner)

• 06:30: Breakfast at the hotel.

• 07:30: Stop at Tang Quai Pass, where morning clouds embrace the Northwest mountains. Sip coffee, breathe in the fresh highland air, and capture the signature misty morning scenery.

• 11:00: Check-in at Pha Din Pass – one of the "Four Great Passes" of Northern Vietnam. Explore and have lunch at Pha Din Pass, where an altitude of 1,648m offers panoramic views, blooming flowers, and breathtaking winding roads.

• 13:30: Visit the Xa Phang ethnic village. Activities include:

  • Relaxing by the cool stream.

  • Learning about the unique customs and daily life of the Xa Phang people.

  • Discovering the traditional shoe embroidery craft. Depending on the season, visit wild sunflower fields, Bauhinia (Hoa Ban) forests, pineapple hills, or vibrant local flower carpets.

• 18:00: Return to Dien Bien Phu city center for dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 3: PA KHOANG LAKE – MUONG PHANG – ECHOES OF DIEN BIEN

(Breakfast – Lunch)

• 07:00: Breakfast at the hotel.

• 07:30: Depart for Pa Khoang Lake – the "green pearl" of the Northwest. Take a boat trip to enjoy the serene atmosphere. Depending on the season, visit Flower Island to see cherry blossoms, Bauhinia, wild sunflowers, or plum blossoms in full bloom.

• 09:30: Visit the Dien Bien Phu Campaign Headquarters in Muong Phang:

  • General Vo Nguyen Giap’s Bunker, a witness to historic decisions.

  • The protected special-use forest.

• 11:30: Lunch and rest at Muong Phang cultural village, discovering the unique lifestyle of the Black Thai people.

• 14:00: Return to the city center. On the way back, stop at a mountainside cafe to admire the terraced rice fields. Complete visits to any remaining historical sites. Enjoy free time to shop for local specialties at the market or the "Local Expert" (Thổ Địa) shop.

• 18:00: Tour guide says farewell at the drop-off point. End of the Dien Bien – Pha Din Pass Landtour, leaving you with profound and unforgettable memories.
