The Dien Bien Phu Victory Museum is located on Vo Nguyen Giap Street, Group 1, Dien Bien Phu Ward, Dien Bien Province. Construction began in October 2012 on a total area of 22,000 square meters. Officially opening its doors on May 5, 2014, after 19 months of construction, it stands as the most large-scale, majestic, and modern architectural work in Dien Bien today. This project holds profound historical, cultural, and architectural significance, featuring high-quality exhibitions that worthily commemorate the victory that "resounded across five continents and shook the globe."

The museum building is designed in the shape of a truncated cone, with an exterior decorated in a diamond pattern symbolizing the camouflage net on a soldier's helmet. The structure consists of one basement and one upper floor:

• The Basement: Serves as a reception area, learning and interactive space, and a venue for entertainment services.

• The Upper Floor: Houses the permanent exhibition dedicated to the historic Dien Bien Phu victory, the world-renowned Panorama painting, and administrative offices.

The main exhibition area on the upper floor covers 1,250 square meters and features nearly 1,000 documents, artifacts, images, and maps. It is highly regarded as a modern, scientifically organized, and aesthetically pleasing exhibition, supported by advanced technology. The display follows a chronological order, interspersed with thematic artifact collections, effectively capturing the overall structure and content of the Dien Bien Phu victory.
